Not less than 5 people were reportedly killed today in a clash between Shi'ites group and Nigerian security agents in Katsina state.
Reports has it that, the clash started when the Islamic group members embarked on Ashura procession in the early hours of today as observed by Shi'ites worldwide. The Katsina state police command had purportedly warned against unlawful processions in the state and an attempt to stop them sparked off the clash started.
