Following the daft decision of the Nigerian government to fully close the Abuja airport in order to effect the reconstruction of it's runways/tarmac, the Canadian foreign office has warned it's citizens of the danger of land at the Kaduna airport. The warning insinuated that terrorists and Fulani herdsmen could extend their activities to the city.
Canada in her travel advisories updates, urged Canadian citizens to avoid visit to that part of Nigeria. The Canadian government cites fear of terror and Fulani herdsmen attack on Christians and foreigners.
Every action of this Buhari's government has in one way or the other led to the continued economic downturn of this country. How can a country close an entire major international gateway just for repairs? You can close one runway while the other is in use and not the entire airport and divert flights to a city infested with Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen/ terrorist.
