Why Do Nigerians Want Their President Dead? Garba Shehu Reacts To Rumours Of President Buhari's Death!

Following rumours out and about on social media since yesterday, that Nigerian President who left Nigeria last week for medical treatment in the United Kingdom has died, his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement released today's afternoon, said nothing unpleasant has happened to his boss.

In his words, "Baseless rumours are trending again that an unpleasant thing has happened to our beloved President, Muhammadu Buhari. If you have received this information on WhatsApp or Facebook, disregard it because it is plain lies spread by vested interests to create panic. Nothing unpleasant has happened to the President. No cause for apprehension. Thanks for the many calls" he wrote on Facebook.

You would recall Mr. Buhari is said to be suffering from a terminal ill health that has seen him looking like a ghost of his old self since after his 50-day medical tourism to the UK in February.
